Zambia runs a dense exhibition calendar, and the anchor events cluster into two halves of the year. Here is the full picture of the major trade fairs and exhibitions for 2026, including the ones already completed.
The two anchor events
60th Zambia International Trade Fair (ZITF) — 1–7 July, Ndola
Zambia's largest trade and investment exhibition, run by the Zambia International Trade Fair Trust at the Ndola Trade Fair Grounds. The 2026 edition marked 60 years of the fair under the theme Bridging Markets, Building the Future.
The programme splits into business days (1–3 July, B2B meetings, ministerial engagements, investment forums), an official opening on 4 July, and trade days open to the public (5–7 July). A separate ZITF Business Forum ran on 2–3 July with a dedicated SME, entrepreneurship and youth empowerment day, followed by an investment, trade and executive leadership day.
ZITF typically pulls exhibitors from across Southern Africa and the DRC, and it is the single best-placed event for Zambian manufacturers and agricultural exporters looking at regional distribution.
98th Agricultural & Commercial Show — 29 July – 3 August, Lusaka
Run since 1919 and still the largest single commercial gathering on the Zambian calendar. The 2026 edition at the Lusaka Showgrounds carried the theme Fostering Trade and Investment, with around 1,400 exhibitors from more than 20 countries including India, China, Germany and the Czech Republic.

The Agricultural & Commercial Show has positioned itself as an investment-promotion platform rather than purely an agricultural exhibition, which reflects where Zambia's growth is actually coming from — Q1 2026 real GDP grew 7.7% year on year, largely on the back of two consecutive record maize harvests, while copper production fell 4.27%.

- Cash is still king on the showgrounds. Card machines fail when the crowd surges after 16:00. Carry small kwacha notes.
- Book transport early. Ndola and Lusaka Showgrounds both choke at midday.
- Wednesday and Thursday are quiet days. If you want actual conversations with exhibitors, avoid opening weekend.
- Accommodation is the constraint, not tickets. Book rooms before you commit to a date.
