November 2026 is a heavy month for business events in Lusaka. Three significant conferences land within two weeks of each other, and the first two deliberately overlap.
1. Gralix Tech Conference 2026 — 12–13 November
Gralix hosts its third international tech conference at the InterContinental Hotel, Lusaka, under the theme Insurtech and Pension-Tech: Leveraging Technology to Revolutionize Protection.
The programme is aimed squarely at insurance and pension professionals, with sessions on data-driven dynamic pricing, AI in claims leakage and fraud detection, customer-centric product design, IFRS 17 reporting tools and AI governance.
Early-bird registration was K4,500. The InterContinental is a small, high-capacity venue — if you want a seat, register before the early-bird window closes rather than chasing gate availability.
2. EU–Zambia Lobito Corridor Business Forum — 12–14 November
The European Union hosts a business forum on the Lobito Corridor at Ciela Resort, Lusaka, running 12 to 14 November.
This is the more strategically significant of the two overlapping events. The Lobito Corridor is the Atlantic rail and road route linking the DRC and Zambia to the Port of Lobito in Angola, and it is one of the few genuinely new trade corridors being built in the region. A forum co-hosted by the EU on that corridor signals active European capital and development funding flowing into the project.
If you work in logistics, mining supply chains, agricultural export, or project finance, this is the higher-value room of the two.
Planning around the clash
Gralix and the Lobito Corridor Forum run on the same two days — 12 and 13 November. If you are trying to do both, the venues are both on the Lusaka side of town but the audiences barely overlap. Go where your industry is, not where the networking is easier.
Hotel is the real constraint. Two Lusaka conferences plus the Medical Expo in the same month pushes mid-range and business-hotel availability in Lusaka tight, and InterContinental and Ciela are close enough that people will try to commute between them. That saves money on the room rate and costs you the in-conversation time that makes conferences worth attending.
3. Healthcare Federation of Zambia Medical Expo — 24–27 November
The Healthcare Federation of Zambia stages its Medical Expo at the Mulungushi International Conference Centre from 24 to 27 November.
For anyone supplying into the public or private health sector — pharmaceuticals, diagnostics, medical devices, hospital equipment, clinical consumables — this is the Zambian trade event with the most direct route to buyers.
Two more November dates worth noting
- Zambia Tourism Excellence Awards — 28 November, Lusaka. Run by the Zambia Tourism Agency. Attended by operators across the country; useful if you work in hospitality, guiding or conservation tourism.
- Equip Conference 2026 — 30 November to 4 December, Central Africa Baptist University, Kitwe. The former Zambia Leadership Conference, themed Delighting in the Triune God. Registration K350, accommodation K100.
Related events the same week
Power & Elec Zambia and the Zambia Pharma & Healthcare Expo run 28–30 October, immediately before the November block begins. If you are covering energy and healthcare suppliers, that is a continuous eight-week run of trade events.
